a little busy today. not helped by being late up this morning, just a bit of stress. i had to arrange a drain company to come in and clear some ducts to a couple of pumping chambers so the pumps and electrical gear can be arranged, they failed to clear it and the LOR manager wanting the work done went off on one at me... just no need for it. pi**ed me off. never mind. the drain company coming back with a larger jetting rig.
got a ticket for the doo tomorrow night, and a free bar, so i'm going to catch the train in, nice change from driving i hope, and catch the last train home.
just seen on Nw caching forum that Mars bars was up on Angelzarke moor yesterday in the lovely sunshine a big difference to our visit up there a couple of weeks ago.
On the boat front, we had to buy a new cooker on saturday, as the old one had flames coming out of the hob burners below the ring, it looked unsafe so we had to retire it, It has done good service as we have been on the boat for 9 years now andgoodness nows how long it was on their before that, the boat was built in 1987-88 so probably since then making the cooker 20 years old at least.
the new cooker we found is a build in one so with a few tweaks we have had to totally redesign the kitchen, a small job has turned into ahuge one and difficult in the confines of the boat. but we'll get there, just annoyiong being without a means to cook anything, at least the stove is running well and keeping us warm.

and staying with petrol, there is a rumour of a fuel blockade starting on saturday, might be on the train all week if that happens.
